It is a one-stop solution that provides a wide array of employment and career related services to the citizens of India (SC/ST jobseekers). It works towards bridging the gap between jobseekers and employers, candidates seeking training and career guidance, agencies providing training and career counselling.

National Career Service Centre for SC/ST, Hyderabad provides vocational guidance, career counselling, skill development training and employment assistance to SC/ST candidates. Services include NCS Portal registration and awareness, individual/group career counselling, parent counselling, confidence-building programmes, career talks, pre-recruitment training, mock interviews, job fairs, and apprenticeship guidance, job opportunity information, online application guidance, and motivation for higher/technical education and self-employment.
The centre also provides Typewriting & Shorthand, Basic Computer Training, free stipendiary training courses with ₹1,000/- stipend for One-Year NIELIT Courses of 'O’ Level Computer Software Training, 'O’ Level Computer Hardware Maintenance Training, Computer Applications & Business Accounting Associate, Cyber Secured Web Development Associate, Office Automation, Accounting & Publishing Assistant and 11-month Special Coaching Scheme for Competitive Examinations.
