About Us

National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled, Puducherry was established in August 2005 to provide and promote the economic rehabilitation and employment to differently abled persons in the UT and other adjoining areas of Puducherry.

The centre provides vocational assessment, guidance, non-formal vocational training, employment assistance and outreach rehabilitation services to differently abled persons.

It conducts training in five trades and undertakes Camps, Job fairs, awareness programmes and stakeholder co-ordination to promote skill development, employment and economic rehabilitation of differently abled persons.

Detail

The primary objective is to facilitate the vocational rehabilitation, skill development, employability and economic rehabilitation of differently abled persons.

Vocational Training: The training is non-formal vocational training and is provided free of cost to eligible candidates as per prescribed norms.

A monthly stipend of Rs. 2,500/- is also provided, subject to the applicable eligibility and attendance conditions.
